Catalysis Science & Engineering

Catalysis Science & Engineering encompasses a broad range of technologies and sciences that facilitate the discovery, development, and use of low-energy reaction pathways to affect molecular changes. The science and engineering of catalysis play pivotal roles in many modern technologies, including energy conversion and storage, production of industrial and pharmaceutical products, biotechnology, pollution reduction, and greenhouse gas emission reduction.

The research groups and academic departments associated with Catalysis Science & Engineering are actively recruiting students to contribute to catalysis work at Penn State. For more information on participating as a student, click here. Faculty and industry members interested in working with us should contact Bert Chandler at bert.chandler@psu.edu.
